This service is offered such that the entities continue to own the whole procurement processes in line with the provisions of the Public Procurement Act 2003 (ACT 663).

Procurement audit/value for mmoney assessment(VFM)
GSCL has a specialized unit that aims at assisting organizations to scrutinize their procurement function and take appropriate action. To this end, GSCL has entered into strategic partnerships with EMPIRE ENTERPRISES OF THE UK, and KAPPA Consulting Limited, a Management Consulting firm based in Accra, Ghana and other private consultants of international repute to execute this important management function.


Supply of goods
GSCL has a department that actively responds to institutional and organizational tenders and supply items such as Computers and Accessories, Agricultural Commodities, Agricultural Equipment and Machinery, Construction Equipment and Machinery, Stationery and other supplies. GSCL’s partnership with Empire Enterprises, UK a world renowned procurement company ensure that items are sourced globally and supplied with speed.


Shipping, Forwarding and clearing of merchandise
GSCL actively provides this service commercially for clients at very competitive rates and on timely basis. Currently, GSCL provides this service from its state of the art and professionally staffed offices at Tema and Takoradi Ports as well as the Kotoka International Airport. GSCL propose to pre-finance clearance of merchandise for selected reliable clients upon request from clients.


Warehousing and Haulage services
GSCL has a warehouse at its Tema port office that provides warehousing and haulage services. Plans are well advanced to open a branch at the in-land Port in Boankra in the Ashanti region as well as a Total Logistics Centre at Takoradi in the Western Region.


Training of stores & Procurement personnel
GSCL has a proven track record of promoting professionalism in the procurement industry by offering training programmes for Procurement, non-procurement, inventory, logistics and stores personnel of public and private organizations as well as individuals.

This is done in collaboration with other institutions and resource persons to provide training in the Procurement modules, structures, rules, and processes of the Public Procurement Act (PPA) 663 and in Stores, Inventory, Supply chain and Public Procurement Management practices.

Provision of services to the Oil and Gas Industry
GSCL has been duly registered as a Service Company and issued a PERMIT by the Petroleum Commssion to provide both upstream and downstream services to the Oil and Gas Industry in Ghana. The services include, but are not limited to fabrications, pipe coating, scaffolding, lifting of heavy equipment, facilities and logistic base management, piling, drilling, piping and pipeline laying, wellhead and flow station maintenance. Also, plans are well advanced to undertake the construction of an industrial port which will include tank farms, container terminals, and offshore supply vessel maintenance and servicing.


Oil supply business
The company has procured an Oil Trading Certificate (OTC) licence from the National Petroleum Authority (NPA) for the supply of crude/petroleum products.
